Sanjeev has had a distinguished 40-year business career, capped by his role as the Managing Director of Idea Cellular, one of India’s reputed and leading corporates. He has earlier been Managing Director of Aditya Birla Nuvo with multi-business responsibility, of the erstwhile BlowPlast with the VIP Luggage business, and the Chief Executive Officer of Mattel Toys India. Under his leadership in just four years, Idea Cellular advanced from the No. 6 to No. 3 position in the fiercely competitive telecom sector, creating billions of dollars of shareholder value. Sanjeev is an Honors graduate in Physics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Pramod founded Genpact, a global leader in business process and technology management services, in 1997 and was its Chief Executive Officer till June 2011. He pioneered the Business Process Management industry in India as well as in diverse countries such as China and Eastern Europe. Under his leadership, Genpact created substantial value from being a start-up to an industry leader with market capitalization of US $4 billion. He is now the Vice Chairman of Genpact and the Chairman of the Skills Academy which is building a skills development business in India. Prior to Genpact, Pramod worked with General Electric (GE) and RCA for over 25 years across the U.S., Europe, and Asia and was most recently the head of GE Capital in India and in Asia. He is a Chartered Accountant from Thomson McLintock & Co., London, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University.
Aditya has had an illustrious career spanning 32 years in the Automotive, Defense, and Healthcare sectors and has a proven track record of launching new businesses, successfully managing business turnarounds, and growing established operations. He spent twenty-five years in the Automotive Industry, eighteen of which were with General Motors (GM) in key leadership positions in Europe and Asia. Among his significant achievements at GM were the revival of the Saab brand in Sweden, the turnaround and subsequent expansion of GM’s businesses in India, and attaining market leadership in Central Europe. Most recently, he was the Chief Executive Officer at Fortis Healthcare, one of the largest integrated healthcare delivery service providers in India. Previously, he worked as the Group President - Defense at Punj Lloyd, a leading integrated design, engineering, procurement, construction, and project management company. Aditya received an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Switzerland, and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as an alumnus of the Delhi University.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Aman worked as an Associate at Gotham Consulting Partners, a New York based private equity focused consulting firm, and as a Summer Associate with Blackstone India’s Private Equity team. Previously, he was an Assistant Manager at ITC Limited, and was part of the team that launched the Personal Care Products business for the company. Aman received an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Anant worked at the Tata Opportunities Fund, an India-focused private equity fund with $600 million under management, and with the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in New York. Previously, Anant worked as a Category Manager at ITC Limited and with the Investment Team at IDFC Private Equity. Anant holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, where he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Gamma Society and awarded Dean’s Distinguished Service Award. Anant also received a Masters and Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Chinmoy worked as an analyst in Morgan Stanley's India Investment Banking Team, where he worked primarily in the financial services, infrastructure, healthcare and real estate sectors. Previously, Chinmoy worked with Deutsche Bank as a part of the EMEA Financial Institutions Group. Chinmoy holds a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Kartik served as an Associate Director in the Mumbai office of the global investment firm Temasek Holdings, where he focused on public and private market investments in the financial services, telecom, and technology sectors. Previously, he worked as an investment banker in New York, at Merrill Lynch and Perella Weinberg Partners, and also as a Summer Associate at Warburg Pincus. Kartik received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Manan worked as an analyst in the Investment Banking Team of Lazard India where he primarily focused on transactions in the healthcare, chemicals and consumer sectors. Manan is a Chartered Accountant (all India rank-holder) and also received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.
Prior to co-founding Kedaara Capital Advisors, Manish served as a Senior Managing Director of Temasek Holdings, where he founded their India office in early 2004 and headed all of their investments and other activities in India. He also held multiple responsibilities in Temasek Singapore. He was a core member of its senior leadership team and a key member of Temasek Holding’s Senior Management Committee (SMC), and it’s Senior Investment & Divestment Committee (SIDC). Prior to joining Temasek, he was a Partner at McKinsey and Company. and had been a part of their New York, Cleveland and Mumbai offices. He has also worked at Goldman Sachs and at the World Bank. He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and was named a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum in 2005. In 2007, he was profiled as one of the “25 hottest young executives in India” by Business Today. Manish is a graduate of Dartmouth College and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Rishi worked in the M&A tax team at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, India. At Deloitte, he was involved in over 60 transactions involving investment structuring and due diligence for private equity funds and strategic investors. He has also advised clients on various corporate restructuring and cross border assignments. Previously, he has worked with Credit Suisse, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Ernst & Young India. Rishi is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Pune University.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Parag worked in the Investment Banking Division of Barclays Capital in India and advised some of the largest business houses in India and the broader APAC region across a broad range of sectors. Prior to Barclays, Parag worked with Avendus Capital in Mumbai, focusing on cross-border M&A deals in the technology sector. Parag holds a Masters degree from University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University, where he graduated with distinction, and was awarded a full scholarship.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Parin worked in the investment advisory team of General Atlantic, a global private equity fund with $17 billion under management. Parin joined General Atlantic in 2005 and primarily focused on the business services, healthcare and consumer sectors. Previously, he worked at McKinsey and Company in their High Technology Practice and Capgemini Consulting in their Automotive Group. Parin holds an MBA in Finance from Mumbai University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Mumbai University.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Hemant worked in the Investment Banking Division of Rothschild India and as a Summer Analyst with Morgan Stanley Investment Banking in Singapore. Before Rothschild, he has worked with Deloitte Consulting in India. Hemant holds a Bachelors degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, where he was the gold medallist. He has also cleared all three levels of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute (U.S.).
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Ashay worked in the investment advisory team of Matrix Partners India, an India-focused private equity fund with $600 million under management. At Matrix, Ashay primarily focused on the financial services, education and hospitality sectors. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Bank of America in New York, in the Financial Institutions Group. Ashay holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Economics from Duke University.
Prior to co-founding Kedaara Capital Advisors, Nishant served as a Principal at the global private equity firm, General Atlantic, which he joined in 2006. He was a senior member of the India investment team and focused on investments in various sectors, including business services, financial services, and healthcare. Previously, he has worked with McKinsey and Company, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Nishant holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and a Masters and Bachelors in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Prior to co-founding Kedaara Capital Advisors, Sunish served as a Managing Director at the global private equity firm, General Atlantic, which he joined in 2004. He was a senior member of the India investment team and invested in technology, financial services, consumer and pharmaceutical businesses, amongst others. Before joining General Atlantic, Sunish worked with McKinsey and Company. In 2011, he was profiled as one of the “25 hottest young executives below 40 in India” by Business Today, the leading business magazine in India. Sunish graduated with honors from Delhi University and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta where he was a gold medallist.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Kaushik worked at the Tata Opportunities Fund, an India-focused private equity fund with $600 million under management, and as a Summer Analyst with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Kaushik holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelors in Engineering from the Jadavpur University where he co-authored several technical papers internationally. He has also cleared all three levels of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute (U.S.).
