Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Amanda worked in the Mumbai office of Temasek Holdings, as the Executive Assistant to the Country Head, where she provided administrative support. Previously, she worked at Kotak Mahindra Capital Company where she supported the Head of Investment Banking and was an Administrative Manager for the investment teams of Fitch Ratings and Indocean Chase Capital Advisors. Amanda received a Secretarial Diploma from Burnleys Commercial College, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Aman worked as an Associate at Gotham Consulting Partners, a New York based private equity focused consulting firm, and as a Summer Associate with Blackstone India’s Private Equity team. Previously he was an Assistant Manager at ITC Limited, and was part of the team that launched the Personal Care Products business for the company. Aman received an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Rishi worked in the M&A tax team at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, India. At Deloitte, he was involved in over 60 transactions involving investment structuring and due diligence for private equity funds and strategic investors. He has also advised clients on various corporate restructuring and cross border assignments. Previously, he has worked with Credit Suisse, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Ernst & Young India. Rishi is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Pune University.
Prior to joining Kedaara Capital Advisors, Devadatta served as a Partner of a management accountancy and taxation advisory firm. Previously, he worked as an Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services Limited, and at PSI Data Systems Limited. Devadatta is a Chartered Accountant, received Risk Management Diplomas from CII (UK) and ICAI (India), and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University.
Manish Kejriwal is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Prior to co-founding the Investment Advisor, Manish served as a Senior Managing Director of Temasek Holdings, where he founded Temasek Holdings’ India office in early 2004 and had actively advised on all of Temasek’s investments and activities in India until September 2011. In addition, he held multiple responsibilities in Temasek Singapore, including serving as a core member of Temasek’s senior leadership team, senior management committee and senior investment and divestment committee. At different times, he also advised on Temasek’s investments in financial services, Africa, the Middle East and Russia.
Manish brings over 10 years of experience, encompassing the full cycle of experiences in private equity in India across a variety of industries and sectors in private and public companies and in other private equity funds. He has successfully advised on various investments/divestments over this period. Some of these include investments in ICICI Bank, Punj Lloyd, Mahindra & Mahindra, Jain Irrigation, Tata Consultancy Services, National Stock Exchange, and Tata Tele.
Prior to joining Temasek Holdings, Manish was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc. and had been a part of their New York, Cleveland and Mumbai offices. Prior to McKinsey, Manish had worked at the World Bank in Washington D.C, and he had spent the summer between his two years at business school with Goldman Sachs (Principal Investment/Corporate Finance) in Hong Kong.
Manish received an AB from Dartmouth College, where he graduated magna cum laude with a major in Economics and Engineering Sciences. He holds an MBA from Harvard University, where he graduated with high distinction as a Baker Scholar.
Manish is currently a member on the boards of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Limited and Bajaj Auto Limited. Over the course of his career he has been (as director or observer) on the boards of various portfolio companies: Temasek Holdings Advisors India Pvt. Ltd., Punj Lloyd, Bharti Infratel, Bharti Tele, Tata Teleservices, Fullerton Financial Holdings and Fullerton India Credit Company.
He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and was named a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum in 2005. In 2007, he was profiled as one of the “25 hottest young executives in India” by India Today. He has also authored various articles on PE in India and has been profiled in various newspapers and periodicals.
Sunish Sharma is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Prior to co-founding the Investment Advisor, Sunish served as a Managing Director at the global private equity firm, General Atlantic, where he was a senior member of the India investment team since 2004 and the second employee hired in the Mumbai office. Over the course of almost eight years at GA, Sunish played a critical lead advisory role in the majority of GA’s investments, and most recently played a key advisory role in building GA’s local Indian investment program into a $1 billion portfolio by late 2011. He has extensive private equity investment advisory experience in business services and technology, healthcare, financial services and the energy and resources sectors.
Prior to GA, he was employed as a management consultant at McKinsey in India for six and a half years. He spent the majority of his time on strategic issues serving several Indian and MNC clients on multiple engagements and M&A transactions. He co-authored the first two NASSCOM-McKinsey reports on the information technology and business process outsourcing sectors. These reports are generally regarded as the authoritative research reports on each respective industry sector.
Sunish is a gold medalist from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta where he did his MBA after graduating with honors from Delhi University. Sunish also holds a cost accounting degree.
In 2011, he was profiled as one of the “25 hottest young executives below 40 in India” by Business Today, the leading business magazine in India. In December 2011-January 2012, in the 20th anniversary issue of Business Today, he was also profiled as one of the Top 20 professional which represent the future of Indian Business “The Next Big Guns”. He has spoken at various conferences on PE in India and the region.
Nishant Sharma is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Prior to co-founding the Investment Advisor, Nishant served as a principal and one of the core members of the India investment team at General Atlantic. He joined GA in 2006 after serving as a summer associate at the firm. He has extensive investment advisory experience across business services, financial services, pharmaceuticals and healthcare and infrastructure/resources.
Prior to attending business school, Nishant worked in the India office of McKinsey from 2001 to 2003, where he worked extensively with Mr. Manish Kejriwal and Mr. Sunish Sharma, and focused on the pharmaceutical, information technology services, manufacturing and government sectors. In addition, he worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as a program associate in setting up the largest HIV/AIDS prevention program in India.
Nishant received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2006, and an M.Tech. and a B.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2001
In a business career commencing 1973, Sanjeev Aga held senior positions in Asian Paints, Chellarams (Nigeria), and Jenson & Nicholson. In 1987, he joined Blow Plast to head the Furniture business, was made Chief Executive of Mattel Toys in 1990, and in January 1993 was appointed Managing Director of Blow Plast with multi-business responsibility including the flagship VIP Luggage business.
In November 1998, he was appointed CEO of the telecom JV, Birla AT&T. He led the company through a period of fast-paced change, through expansions, mergers and acquisitions to be CEO of Birla Tata AT&T, which was renamed Idea Cellular. In July 2002, Aga left Idea to be with the Aditya Birla Group, where from May 2005 until October 2006, he was the Managing Director of Aditya Birla Nuvo, a conglomerate with interests spanning diverse group businesses.
With Idea's shareholding changing to become an Aditya Birla group entity, November 2006 saw Sanjeev Aga back once again as Managing Director. The next four years were a period of rapid growth and progress for Idea. The company improved its national market position from No.6 to No.3, joined the ranks of the 10 biggest global telcos, and importantly, became a highly regarded profitable company in a hyper-competitive sector. Sanjeev Aga stepped down as Managing Director of Idea Cellular in March 2011. Sanjeev Aga currently serves on the Board of Idea Cellular and Pidilite Industries.
Sanjeev Aga is an Honours graduate in Physics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, and a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.
Vindi joined CD&R in 2010 after a 33-year career at Unilever. He is the former President Global Foods, Home and Personal Care and member of the Unilever plc Executive Board. He was responsible for the global consumer business and also led the creation of a Global Category Organization, responsible for innovation and marketing mix development across 170 countries for all 270 Unilever brands across Foods, Home & Personal Care. Previous appointments include President, Home and Personal Care Asia as well as Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Ltd.
He has been on the Prime Minister of India’s Council of Trade & Industry since 2004. He is a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Thomson Reuters, Maruti Suzuki India and Marks & Spencer plc. Mr. Banga is also on the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad as well as the Supervisory Board of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Mr. Banga was awarded the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honors, by the Prime Minister of India in 2010. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and received the Gold Medal from both institutions.
Pramod founded Genpact, a global leader in business process and technology management services, in 1997 and was its Chief Executive Officer till June 2011. Under his leadership, Genpact pioneered in the BPO industry in many countries including India and China, and its market capitalization has grown from over US $500 million in 2005 to over US $3.5 billion when he retired. Genpact currently employs over 55,000 professionals around the globe to deliver world-class services to its 600+ clients – from a network of ~50 delivery centers located across 16 countries.
Prior to Genpact, Pramod was an officer at General Electric (GE). His career with GE and RCA spanned over 25 years across the US, Europe, and Asia. He was most recently the head of GE Capital in India and in Asia, having worked with GE Capital’s Corporate and Finance Group in Stamford, Connecticut.
Pramod serves on the boards of NDTV, and Bank of India, and is on the governing boards of several educational institutions including IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Lucknow, Lady Shri Ram College, and Shri Ram School. He has also served as the Chairman of India's National Association of Software & Services Companies (NASSCOM).
He is a Chartered Accountant from Thomson McLintock & Co., London, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University.
Hari has joined Kedaara Capital Advisors as the Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Hari was the Chief Financial Officer of Reliance Private Equity. Prior to joining Reliance, Hari was the Chief Financial Officer at Sequoia Capital India, which was formed along with WestBridge Capital Partners, which he joined in 2000. At Reliance and Sequoia, Hari was responsible for overseeing the firm's legal, financial and administrative activities as well as LP communications and fund raising. Hari has been involved in more than 50 investments in his previous roles across retail, IT, ITES, internet, life sciences, financial services and infrastructure sectors.
Prior to joining WestBridge, Hari was the Financial Controller at Ford Credit Kotak Mahindra and Head of Operations for long term lending products at Kotak Mahindra Finance.
Hari is a Chartered Accountant having secured a merit list in the final year and has a B. Com from Sydenham College, Mumbai.
Parin Mehta is a Vice President at Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Prior to joining Kedaara, Parin worked with the India office of General Atlantic, a US based PE firm with $17bn under management. Parin joined General Atlantic in 2005 and was one of the core members of the India Investment Team. He has extensive investment advisory experience across business services, healthcare and consumer.
Prior to joining General Atlantic, Parin worked with CapGemini Consulting and McKinsey & Co. At McKinsey, Parin was focusing on the High Tech sector and was involved on several client engagements in Europe and US.
Prior to attending business school, Parin worked with CMC limited, as an resident engineer at Bombay Stock Exchange, responsible for the functioning of the online trading platform on Tandem Mainframes.
Parin received his MBA from Sydenham Institute of Management and BE in Electronics & Telecom from Mumbai University.
Anant Gupta is a Senior Associate at Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Previously, Anant worked with Tata Opportunities Fund, a $600+ million Indian private equity fund for one and a half year and focused on potential investments in variety of sectors including consumer, logistics telecom, media, and real estate and infrastructure.
Prior to Tata Opportunities Fund, he has worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs (New York office) and focused on M&A and financial advisory to clients in Consumer Retail sector. Amongst others, he has worked on large (ranging from $1 to $3 billion) buy-side and sell-side transactions, including leverage buyouts, recapitalizations, IPOs and debt financing, for mega private equity funds and their portfolio companies. He has also worked in the investing team of IDFC Private Equity, an India focused ~$1.5 billion Infrastructure fund as a pre-MBA Associate.
Anant has also spent four years as a Category Manager and Assistant Manager with ITC Limited, a large multi-business conglomerate, with market capitalization of ~$45 billion, and having diversified presence in Cigarettes, FMCG, Hotels, Paperboards and Packaging, Agri-Business and Information Technology. At ITC, he was part of core team asked with creating the business plan and entry-strategy for the Personal Care business. He was instrumental in setting up ITC’s first manufacturing facility for Personal Care Business and worked with various suppliers to establish business supply chain.
He received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Chicago. At Kellogg, he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Gamma Society and awarded Dean’s Distinguished Service Award. Anant completed an M.Tech and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Ashay Shah is a Senior Associate at Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Previously, Ashay was an Associate at Matrix Partners India, an investment advisor for a $300 million India-focused private equity fund. At Matrix, he was a member of the core investment advisory team and was responsible for sourcing and evaluating investments primarily in the financial services, travel and hospitality and education sectors. A few of the transactions he executed include Muthoot Finance ($20 million investment), FIITJEE Ltd. ($20 million) and Siesta Hospitality ($10 million).
Prior to Matrix, Ashay worked in New York in the financial institutions investment banking coverage group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. There, he was responsible for the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions, including several IPOs, for banks, insurance providers and financial technology companies.
Ashay received an M.B.A. with Distinction from INSEAD in 2011 and a B.S. from Duke University in 2006.
Kartikeya Kaji is a Senior Associate at Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Previously, Kartikeya was an Associate Director in the Mumbai office of Temasek Holdings, a US $150 billion Singapore-based investment firm, where he focused on public and private market investments in the Financial Services, Telecom, and Technology sectors. While at Temasek, he was an observer on the boards of portfolio companies - Bharti Infratel and Firstsource.
He started his career as an investment banker in New York, first as an Analyst at Merrill Lynch, and then as an Associate at M&A boutique Perella Weinberg Partners, where he was a part of the initial start-up team. Kartikeya was also a Summer Associate at the India office of Warburg Pincus.
Kartikeya received an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College.
Aman Gandhi is an Associate at Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Previously,Aman was an Associate with Gotham Consulting Partners, a New York based management consulting firm which advises private equity clients on investment strategy, due-diligence and post-acquisition value creation work. Prior to Gotham, Aman worked with the private equity group of Blackstone India as a Summer Associate.

Parag Mehta is an Associate at Kedaara Capital Advisors LLP (the “Investment Advisor”), a private equity advisory firm dedicated to India and based in Mumbai.
Previously, Parag worked in the Investment Banking team of Barclays in India focusing on M&A and ECM advisory for a broad range of clients. While at Barclays, Parag worked on a range of transactions across TMT, Consumer and Industrials sectors both in India and Asia
Prior to Barclays, Parag spent extensive time on the IT and BPO sectors working at Avendus Capital in their M&A advisory business and worked with some of the fastest growing companies in this space. During Avendus, Parag developed a strong understanding of the work done by the companies across KPO, BPO and IT services with a deep knowledge of their services, offerings and growth strategy.
He received his Masters in Operations Research from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was a University Fellow and completed his Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University.
